On the morning of Andrew and Becky's wedding, we didn't know what to expect. Gray skies tightly blanketed the small church where they were patiently counting down the hours to marriage. Almost as soon my sister and I arrived to begin capturing their day, thunder cracked and shook like a brandishing dusty rug. Torrential downpour quickly followed. But when we found the pair tucked away in separate corners of their church, they were beaming. Really.
Their wedding was precious. And so very them. Since Andrew had proposed to Becky at a Cubs game, their wedding followed suit. Blue and red were cast all over the walls, the bridesmaids, the flowers, and even the cufflinks. Peanuts and candy were in easy reach and the couple even left the building adorned with "bride" and "groom" baseball caps.
The rain let up for us to capture a few images of the couple spending a rare few quiet minutes alone with each other right smack dab in the middle of the day. Below are a few of our favorites.
Congratulations, Andrew and Becky! We wish you nothing but a lifetime of winning Cubs games and muddy trucks!
